Natascha Bessez's New Website

Good news!! I've got Natascha Bessez coming in to the studio today.  We are going to shoot some new hot shots.  I don't think there will be a exclusive preview later today, but you never know.

FHM Magazine - Melanie Iglesias Demands Your Attention

Very Cool for FHM Magazine to do a story on the Melanie Iglesias Flip Books 1 and 2 today.  They featured the first video when it came out, but this was a little more special as they attached a fun story about both.  The videos are doing amazing.  Part 1 is over 1.1 Million views today and Part 2 is at 740,000 views in 4 days.  Amazing.  Below are links to both, plus the link to ALL Melanie links.

Melanie Iglesias Flipbook 2 is Coming Out Soon!!

Flipbook 2 is coming out soon!!  Melanie has been tweeting some of the screen shots on Twitter.  And I have some great behind the scenes shots of Melanie being her adorably sexy self.  I will post them in the days after the video is released, but crazy enough, it has been so busy here with fashion week coming up, that I haven't had a chance to look through them since the shoot.

Melanie Iglesias Flipbook is being featured everywhere!! 50,000 Hits

We are less than 2 days in and we are getting some amazing buzz. 50,000 hits in like 40 hours! I joked that we would get 50,000 total when we made it. It also has over 2000 likes and 700 comments.

First, here is the video again for anyone who is coming straight to this link. It is basically addictive with Melanie smiling her way through funky outfits. Putting them on and taking them off. We had a blast making this. It is all just 1 take of us playing with ideas we thought up at the spur of the moment.



We got a very nice endorsement from the Philip DeFranco show, entitled, "MELANIE IGLESIAS RAISES DEBT CEILING BY SELLING CHINESE CHILDREN ". The best line from it is when Philip says, "The Youtube has gotten a little sexier today."



I can't post all the sites or anything. It is lighting up the board on Tumblr with fans pausing the video and posting all the hot stills. Maybe a couple thousand notes already from all the sites. Here are a few of the dozens of sites spreading the word.

The Melanie Iglesias Flipbook Video - Super Hot!!

I am really excited to release the new video I just shot with the super hot Melanie Iglesias. You have seen Melanie Iglesias in 2011 Maxim’s Top 100 and World Poker Tour as a Royal Flush Girl. Now her is a little more of her!! Especially that great personality. She is such a sweetheart to work with.

We did the video on a whim and just hope everyone enjoys it. We shot around 2000 frames to make the stop motion video, and I would like to argue it is one of the sexiest stop motion videos of all time. It is Melanie dressing and then stripping off loads of outfits. No images have been retouched at all, and we shot it all in one take. And yes, the individual frames are super hot as well!!!

For those photo nerds out there who are as much interested in what I did as Melanie. I shot on a Canon 5D MarkII on continuous shooting with the awesome Broncolor Scoro in fast mode. I used my trusty 85mm 1.2 lens and my souped up beauty dish. All the creative ideas and styling were just from me, Melanie and my assistant, Mary Austin.

Here are some photographs I took of Melanie posted last week. We took these at the same time as the video shoot. I am still planning to release more in the near future. So check back sometimes.

Hottest Alina Vacariu Shoot Ever?

I know I have been terrible. I keep photographing Alina Vacariu and not posting the shots. A couple people have emailed me asking and I recently read on another blog wondering when I would post my last shoot. Well, I sort of skipped a hot shoot from last fall, but here is Alina and my shoot from a little over a week ago. This is 100% UN-retouched and I think possibly our hottest shoot ever. It goes to show you in this very retouched world, that sometimes you need absolutely NO retouching at all. You can see she was nude here and she looks amazing in person. And she is so sweet!

Photo of the Day - Carly

Here is an old shot of mine that I always liked. It is model shot I did years ago for a beautiful model, Carly. It was taken in Brooklyn.

The shot is so old, I guess I shot it on an old Canon Rebel. The file info says ISO 100, 1/100sec at F5.6. I used on an external flash directly on the camera.

Rachel Hartzog - New York Models

I thought I would post one of my favorite models from New York Models, Rachel Hartzog. Some of you may know Rachel from the second season of Project Runway, and I posted 1 shot previously in my post on models I photographed from the show.

It is funny that when you take as many photo as I have, it is sometimes easier to find some of your work on the internet than in your archives. The first shot has been widely posted on the internet and even on my blog. The second shot, I believe, ran in a UK publication, but I never followed up to see a copy. The 3rd and 4th are first time postings. I don't think anyone but Rachel and her agent have seen them. The last photo I found on Youtube, but I guess it is buried too deep in my archives to find it here.

Digital Arts Magazine Cover - Michael Creagh

It should be no surprise that when you shoot every day, like I do, that you miss stuff. But missing a magazine cover!? The Digital Arts cover is back from March of 2008. I probably heard something about it and just forgot it was coming out. I don't own a copy! At least, I remember the shoot vividly. I shot it in collaboration with the cool graphic illustrators Vault49 ( http://vault49.com) and originally the photo series showed as part of a different series. However, Digital Arts Magazine was doing a feature story on Vault49's work and I guess it was re-run. The model is the hot Taylor Warren. She is an amazing model you have seen in countless magazines. I have photographed her several times and did some of her first shots when she was 14. The most notable shoot with Taylor was for the MTV show "How To Live Like a Model" (you can see the video in the video section on my website; http://michaelcreagh.com).

Model Profile – Angela Roukas at New York Models

I am trying a new feature of the blog to compliment the other additions like posting some shots from my natural light series. I want to add a few shots of the same model that are not necessarily related by theme or story. I have photographed hundreds of gorgeous models who just never made my main website because there was no overall story attached to it. but I want to share some of the images I enjoyed.

Today is Angela Roukas of New York Models. Completely sexy young woman with a super cool personality. We just shot at my place in Brooklyn for a couple hours. The first shot is probably my favorite from the series. It is just natural window light on my bed with a black cloth background behind.

This shot was done on the floor by my window with bright sunlight.

Alina Vacariu Nude...Almost

Way back in June I told everyone that I had a new Alina Vacariu shoot and posted the 1 shot directly below. Many of you have written patiently waiting as I bragged it was hot! For the record, I was waiting as well. Alina and I selected our favorites, the agents got involved, we all traveled to different places, worked a lot....time flies. The good news is the agents didn't cut anything and we got some beautiful natural light shots of Alina.

Here is the shot I posted back in June. Alina and I have shot together a couples and you can see some more fashion and beauty photos here and here.

Here are 3 very similar shots of Alina Vacariu almost nude. Not that you need me to say it, but I was there. Alina is beautiful in person; sexy. We had a really had time choosing a favorite. Any thoughts on 1,2,or 3?

For those of you who are tech photography junkies like me, the lighting was just simple window light behind Alina and whatever light was bouncing around my studio. I shot with my Canon 1DS Mark III at ISO1600 (It wasn't as bright as it looked!) at 1/125 sec at F1.4 on the Canon 85mm 1.2 lens. This is part of my natural light series.
