I will be giving a talk at the Blurb Pop Up Store in Soho this Tuesday from 2-3pm. I will be speaking about how to be a Fashion Photographer here in New York; everything from working with modeling agencies, to building a portfolio, to getting clients, to marketing oneself. It should be fun.

I just got a message that one of the most recent photos I took of Emily Bergl was just used in an interview on Examiner.com. Here is the link where you can read the whole interview. Emily is the newest character on ABC's Desperate Housewives, playing Paul's wife. Emily is a good friend and I have photographed her a half dozen times (links below).

PDN - Photo District News Photo of the Day

I have the photo of the day on Photo District News Today. Kissing couples is part of a collaborative I took with my photographer friend, Rinze Van Brug. Published in Metropop Magazine, we shot it on location in the West Village in New York. This image was taken with available light and a tripod. You can see the rest of the series in an earlier blog post.

Photo District News is one of my favorite photography magazine, so it was cool for them to choose one of my images.
