Me as the Subject

I am usually creating art and not the subject of it.  But at my shoot for FIT today, I suddenly became the art!  Fun, fun.

Yaya Kosikova + Kate Netolicka

A couple weeks back I made it to the Ford Models Party.  But like so many of my interactions with modeling agencies, I know them through phone calls and e-mails.  So when I walk in, it is totally dark and the music is thumping.....I don't recognize anyone but a few super hot models whose books had been sent to me, but I never hired.  That isn't really the conversation starter you want.  So after bumming around chatting a few minutes here and there with some industry acquaintances, I am literally out the door when I run into the super gorgeous Kate Netolicka.  I photographed her for my Trains series with Susana Monaco.  She is so sweet.  Her and her cool friend Yaya Kosikova invite me to hang out for a while, and save my night from being a bore. 

Last week we finally got together to shoot.  Here is the first look, cinema style.  I will post more shots of the different looks in the near future.

Melnaie Iglesias - MTV2 Guy Code Tonight!

Thank you to the good people at Canon cameras who allow us to capture such hot images and keep them forever.  For those of you who aspire to be photographers, I shot the image on a Canon 5D Mark II with a Canon Speedlight 580 EXII and an 85mm F1.2 L series lens; 1/320sec, F5.6 ISO 400.  Makeup by Oz Rodriguez.

Heartloom Campaign

Quite a long time back I posted part 1 of the Heartloom campaign.  After winning the award the other day, it reminded me to post 2!!
